Xennial-approved. Although, my dad abused his father to get the bulk of the family wealth. Unfortunately, they get away with it all sometimes.

My mom, on the other hand, I feel bad for her because she was a victim too, and I even wrote an article here about it, but she was also a victimizer.

While I can forgive her, I won't forget.

The bottom line is I don't owe either one of them anything. I'm extremely low contact with my mom and absolutely no contact with my dad and have been for nearly 20 years.

Only now is the stigma beginning to lift.
