We don't need separate sports teams. Separate is not equal, especially when dealing with a minority. I forgot to mention this and my other comment, so I'm mentioning it now.

There are plenty of women who can beat men at certain sports. Sports should never have been separated by gender, but by hormonal makeup, size and strength, and skill.

I'm not a fan of professional fighting, but they've already been doing this for decades, albeit also with a gendered component.

Why can't we adapt and adopt such a system?

Because people would rather fight a culture war than find solutions.
